Business Criticality is now Performance Criticality

Based on your feedback, we have changed the name of the Business Criticality property to Performance Criticality.

You can continue to use Performance Criticality to define how important the performance of your workload is to your business.

The Compute Software platform considers this property to determine the tradeoff between performance and cloud provider cost savings. If Performance Criticality is Highly Critical, you will find any action items to be tuned toward performance versus cost savings. If Performance Criticality is Less Critical, you will find any action items to be tuned toward cost savings versus performance.

The default property values for Performance Criticality also remain:

Highly Critical: $100 per 10-minute window

Critical: $1 per 10-minute window

Less Critical: $0.01 per 10-minute window

You may simulate changes to your Performance Criticality property through the Simulations tab on the action item overlay, which was a feature announced last week.
