Supporting GCP Committed Use Discounts

GCP Committed Use Discounts are now incorporated into all metrics and action items across the platform.

Action Item Overview and Overlay

On the Action Item overview, the % Optimal and Net Value metrics now reflect your current Committed Use discounts.

On the Action Item overlay, any GCP Committed Use Discounts applied to the action item will appear under "Discount Credits Applied."

Committed Use Discounts are now used in calculating the effective price. All action items will account for these discounts and you will see them, if applied, under "Additional Information" of a task.

Discounts

Navigate to the Discounts section and the Committed Use Discounts tab to view all of your current GCP Committed Use Discounts.

To simulate a world in which no previously purchased GCP Committed Use Discounts apply, you may navigate to the Simulations - Without Discounts tab to view all relevant metrics and action items. This is useful in evaluating the optimal resources to run without any discount constraints. This is also useful in planning for discount purchases based on running on optimal resources.

Insights

From the Insights section, the Cloud Cost metrics and charts with and without discounts now reflect your current Committed Use Discounts.
